MIDWEEK PRAYER

Don't quibble with me and say this is not a prayer.  A blessing is a prayer.  I have an Irish Blessing on the wall of my bedroom.  This is a little different.  My daughter made it for me a few years ago when she was playing around with calligraphy.  In case you can't read it from the photo, I've repeated it below.  I just love it - and her...and her siblings...and their children...and their children's children.  Pass this on to someone today.

An Irish Blessing:  May God grant you always - a sunbeam to warm you, a moonbeam to charm you, a sheltering angel so nothing can harm you, laughter to cheer you, faithful friends near you, and, whenever you pray, heaven to hear you.
