Say a prayer today for all those people who have or are in the process of losing their memory. Without a memory, what do we have. Lately, I hear of another friend in that situation almost every week. Pray for them and those who care for them.
Almighty God,
I pray for all those who are losing their memory or have already completely done so. Relieve them of the confusion, angst and frustration it must bring. Give them your peace. They will return to you as they came into this world; without a thought, but forever your child.
I pray for those who know and love them. How terrible to be a stranger to a loved one or friend. Give these people compassion and strength to bear with it until the end.
I also want to thank you for the many blessings you have given to me and my family - and so many great memories that we all can cherish.
