I've heard a lot of hubbub about a company changing it's logo. It even leaked into a sports talk show I heard recently. I visited the place the other day and I find there have been other changes besides the logo; a new, hipper menu for instance. Yuck!
Of course, I'm talking about Cracker Barrel restaurants. They've sliced away the old man in the rocking chair sitting next to a barrel from their logo. How heartless! Old Man! OUT! Rocking Chair! OUT! Barrel! OUT!
What I'm afraid of is that they are trying to appeal to a group of people that doesn't include me. You see, it seems fewer and fewer places are out to appeal to me and my friends. It's obviously all about me and my friends - OUT!
The barrel, I don't care so much about. I never really thought anyone kept crackers in a barrel, anyway - it sounds way too unsanitary.
STOP! - Save The Old People!
