Small world department. Last Sunday, I got on a shuttle to take the 85-mile trip from the Minneapolis airport to the St. Cloud/Sartell area where I was to stay for the week. It was a 10-passenger van carrying a couple of business guys and several college students. I sat in a rear seat.
The last person on was a 300+ pound, middle-aged, scruffy looking, bearded man who was probably here for the ice fishing. He sat next to the driver. He was a late arrival, so the driver asked him his basic information as we were preparing to leave. I think I heard that his name was Tom Anderson. I'm sure he said he was from Germantown, Ohio. I yelled up front and asked if he knew my famous daughter from that fair city. He replied that he probably road motorcycles with her father-in-law. He seemed less impressed by the coincidence than I and another word was not said.
