No student ever really knows (masters) a subject until he can teach it.  I think the ideal method of teaching is to ask the student to teach you.  If your child is attempting to learn a new subject, don't quiz them on it.  Ask them to teach it to you.  It is amazing what you can learn by trying to teach.

We are all teachers.  Every day you're teaching somebody something.  Be a good teacher; a teacher of good.
