RANDOM MUSINGS FROM THE TOP OF THE HILL

AULD LANG SYNE

Auld Lang Syne is Scottish -  taken from a Robert Burns poem.  It translates in English to "long, long ago."

New Years Eve is a time to think about times long, long ago.  It is the quintessential time to be maudlin.  In that spirit, I say, I dearly miss the "good ol' days". . . but not enough to give up my iPod . . . or my iPhone . . . or my iPad . . . or my iAnything.   The only thing I really miss is my youth.

Why, Oh why, do we have to waste youth on the young?  I could make such good use of it now.
