RANDOM MUSINGS FROM THE TOP OF THE HILL

EAGLES

Glen Frey of the Eagles passed away last week.  The Eagles were/are one of the top bands for the Baby Boomer generation.  Glen played guitar and keyboard as well as composed and sang much of their music.  I was prompted by his death to watch The History of the Eagles which is on Netflix.  It is a documentary and is over 3 hours long - fascinating stuff.

A local radio station replayed a telephone interview that Frey had given them a few months ago.  In it, they asked if the Eagles had ever come to Cincinnati and what memories he might have of it.  He asked if Bogarts was still in business - laughed - and said that is where they celebrated Don Henley's 30th birthday - 38 years ago last July.
*O*
