RANDOM MUSINGS FROM THE TOP OF THE HILL

2/08/2016

FEBRUARY 8

On this date in 1922 (less than 100 years ago), President Warren G. Harding moved the White House into the 'high tech' era.  He bought a radio set.  Until this date, the White House did not have a radio.   The radio set went on the market to the general public for entertainment purposes in 1920.  Harding, Ohio born, is considered by many to be among the worst Presidents in terms of accomplishments.  Going high tech doesn't count for much.
