LENT

We are in the season of Lent . . . 40 days leading up to the remembrance of Jesus dying for our sins and then rising from the dead.  Our society is so soft . . . norms have been lowered so much that you hardly notice that it is Lent.  Sadly, Friday fish specials are all most will notice.

As I've said before, I think it is better to do something positive rather than depriving yourself of something. No matter, I suggest you do something and you do it quietly.  Tell no one - resist the temptation.  Make it between you and your God.  It's better that way.
