Have you ever heard of the Cincinnati neighborhood called Pendleton? Cincinnati is very much a neighborhood city - I'd heard of Pendleton but never knew exactly where it was. It turns out it is a triangle bounded by E. Liberty Street, Sycamore Street and E. Central Parkway. That puts it just east of Over-the-Rhine, just south of Mt. Auburn and just north of the central business district. Sorry about this description to those of you who are directionally-challenged. Some landmarks that might help you are Jack Casino which is close but not in there and the Hamilton County courthouse is close but not in there.
Pendleton has been snatched up by the over-zealous Over-the-Rhine promoters but it still exists. The Over-the-Rhine clock tower is located in Pendleton. Of course, this neighborhood is the home of the renowned Pendleton Art Center. You will also find the world-famous Verdin Company headquarters there - they the manufacturers of bells and clocks. Along the streets you will see renovated brick town homes in century old structures, an art colony like no other in town, modern millennial-style eateries and pubs, the Greater Cincinnati Police Museum, new high-rise apartment complexes springing up, historic churches and much more.
Pendleton - a big little part of Cincinnati.
