MIDWEEK PRAYER

Lord Jesus, exemplar to our race of all that is good;
through You, God our all-mighty Father has demonstrated His power
over disease, deformity, injury and even death.

Today we ask that the world be relieved of the pandemic we call the corona virus.
Heal those that are sick, give strength to those that love them,
bless those that care for them, judge mercifully those that have passed.

As I speak, know that I, a sinner, make this prayer humbly,
asking not for what I may deserve
but with thanks for what I have, for my personal health,
and of those closest to me.

Amen
