I wore garters.

Back in the late sixties and early seventies, dignified men wore garters to keep their long black socks in place with a suit. The socks were calf length and the garters were placed just below the knee. No one wanted to see socks falling down around your ankles or skin exposed above short socks. Sock material wasn't as elastic as it is today. I wore them. I can't really picture myself doing it but I know I did. It sounds real crazy to me now and doesn't seem like something I would do. A woman must have made me do it. I wonder if I looked sexy taking them off?
