BIRTH DAY
My mother had spent several days in the hospital before I was born. This was the Army Hospital in Orlando, Florida. Quite a few doctors had attended to my mother during the pregnancy and her favorite was a Major Colter. Well, he had duty from 7 pm on the 28th until 7 am on the 29th. When my mother discovered this, she made up her mind to have her baby before he went off duty. I'm not sure what she did but I was born at 6:56 am on the 29th and was delivered by Major Colter.
Mom related this to me on my 61st birthday.
