This makes me feel good because now I realize that I'm a work of art.
Garson Kanin was a writer and director who died at the age of 86 in 1999. He directed Funny Girl (1348 performances) which opened on Broadway in 1964 and The Diary of Anne Frank (717)which opened in 1955. He wrote the script for the movies Pat and Mike (1952) and Adams Rib (1949) both successful comedies starring Spencer Tracy and Katharin Hepburn.
