ISLAM & THE POPE
The furor expressed by Muslims over the words of Pope Benedict is ironic. The Holy Father was citing the words of a Byzantine emperor who thought some of the teachings of Muhammad were evil in that he advocated the spread of Islam "by the sword". Now, it seems the Pope is threatened "by the sword". I guess Muhammad or the current Imams never preached "Sticks and stones...".
