TIGER WOODS

TIGER WOODS

In 2004, Tiger Woods signed a contract to have a yacht built for he and his new wife. It is a 155 foot trideck worth about 20 million before modifications. As it was being built, his fiance traveled to the Vancouver shipyard regularly to make interior decorating decisions.

The couple used the ship on their honeymoon in the Caribbean. They were boarded by customs officials near Puerto Rico because they had not given the required four day entry notice for a ship of this size. After the honeymoon, Tiger sued the yachtmaker for this invasion of his privacy. It was settled out of court but it is believed he received about half of the cost of the yacht. Can you believe that?
