Songs affect us by time and place. They mean more or less to each listener depending on the circumstance. The Chapel at the US Naval Acadamy is a beautiful structure and very impressive. Each time we attended a service there, the Academy choir sang. And each time, it performed the Navy Hymn. I dare say you could hear this hymn elsewhere and soon forget it.
