CHRISTMAS

'Separation of church and state' has turned into 'elimination of church as it has to do with state'. Our country is moving ever more closely to eliminating Christmas. The word is almost gone from our language. If it weren't for our retail economy depending on Christmas for its survival, it would be gone by now. Even retailers have gone to "holiday shopping". Its hard to find the word Christmas anywhere.

How do we stop this trend? What can an individual do? Not much, I'm afraid. Just keep Christmas in YOUR heart and on YOUR lips and never give in to the trap of secularism. Wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Christmas, Holy Christmas, Loving Christmas, Quiet Christmas or 'whatever-seems-appropriate' Christmas this year. Keep reminding yourself and those around you that it is Jesus' birthday we are celebrating.
