AGE

As usual, the Indy 500 will be run Memorial Day weekend. I was fortunate enough to be at three of the Indy 500 races. The unusual thing about this year's race is that it will have a new trackside announcer. Tom Carnegie retired after the 2006 race. He has a voice you could never forget. He became the 'Voice of the Speedway' in 1946. Even I was just a baby, then. Its hard to imagine doing anything for 61 consecutive years. Here's to age and longevity.
