SOFTBALL

Last night began the softball season. It was a strange night, so dark I couldn't wear my sun glasses which I always wear to play. We lost 19 -13. We gave up 8 runs in the second and one in the fifth. We trailed 9-7 going into the 6th when they decided to play just one more inning and play 'one-pitch' because it was so dark. Very stupid. We were missing four of our top players. I went two for four. I felt fat and ugly. I was embarrassed to be in the uniform.
