FLORIDA AND MORE

Well, we're off to the land of sunshine again. The bird flies tomorrow morning. As usual, I'm hoping for bad weather for the Cincinnati area while we're gone. Its so much fun to sit at the beach and gloat about the weather. We usually go in the Winter and its warmer in Florida. This year, the chances are it will be cooler than in Ohio. Lets hope!

No softball game last night.

Homer Bailey made one of the most celebrated sports debuts in the history of the city last night. Everyone has been clambering for him for the last month because the Reds' season has gone so poorly. There were billboards around town with his picture on them - hastily put up when it was announced that he was coming. He did a pretty good job under the circumstances.

I hope I can get my wife with the sore knee through the airport. I hope I can find a way to publish next week's posts.
