"Down goes Frazer! Down goes Frazer! Down goes Fraser!"

-Howard Cossel, January 22, 1973

The site was Kingston, Jamaica. George Foreman had floored current Heavyweight Champion Joe Fraser to take the 'Belt'. To me, this call symbolized a sport I loved in the 60's and 70's. You knew who the 'Champ' was. Pay-per-view hadn't taken over as yet. Besides Foreman and Frazer, we had Muhammad Ali, Ken Norton, George Chuvalo, Leon and Michael Spinks, Sugar Ray Leonard, Tommy Hearns, Marvin Hagler, Roberto Duran, local Aaron Pryor and many more.

Its not the same now. Title fights are no longer on 'free TV'. There are so many weight divisions you can't figure out who is who. 'Low Lifes' dominate the sport. Its hard to get into it now and that's too bad.
