The Mets came to town on Thursday for four games and were touting a nine game winning streak. We had them beat in the opener until Coco, our stopper, gave them four in the ninth. On Friday, Bronson Arroyo was brilliant, Jay Bruce homered and we held on for a 5-2 win. On Saturday, Josh Fogg did well again for a 7-2 win. On Sunday, Edinson Volquez was hittable and even with three home runs, the Reds lost 7-5 in 10 innings. The Reds finished the week at 48 wins and 52 defeats. They are 11 games behind the Cubs in their division.
