The Reds are supposed to be in the easy part of their schedule. San Diego came into town for three to start the week off. The Reds lost the first but won the next two. After an off day on Thursday, Colorado was in for the weekend. The Rockies swept the Reds including an 11-0 thrashing on Sunday when my sister and I were there. After going 2-4 for the week, the Reds are now 50-56 and are 11.5 games behind the Cubs. They're spinning their wheels.
Thursday is the trading deadline. Who knows what this week will bring.
The Bengals had to report to training camp in Georgetown yesterday. Two-a-days start today. I am optimistic.
