Some of the most popular TV shows are Grey's Anatomy, ER, Scrubs and House. One thing you should learn from these shows is that resident physicians are newcomers with no experience. Residents make mistakes! No matter that they have an experienced doctor overlooking their work. Mistakes are still made. Med students graduate in May or June and find themselves a residency by July 1. Hospitals are full of brand new residents right now. Try not to get sick for three or four months.
