SPEEDING

Check this out. Florida has just amended their traffic laws so that speeders exceeding the limit by more than 50 mph will be fined $1000.00. A second offense like this can bring a $2,500.00 fine...a third offense can bring a $5,000.00 fine. Lest you think no one goes that fast, on the second day the law was in effect, in the first 1-1/2 hours of checking, a motorcycle was clocked at 150 mph and a Ford Mustang was going 145 mph on the Palmetto Expressway.

I wonder if the operator of that Mustang was one of those blue-haired ladies (who are everywhere in Florida) who look through the steering wheel when they drive.
