The Reds are ready. The consensus is: they have the best starting pitching staff they've had in years; the relievers are questionable but could be very good; the defense should be a little better than the last few years and they definitely have more speed; the big BUT - they will have trouble scoring runs.
The Bengals announced their pre-season schedule for next season: Friday 8/14 at New Orleans; Thursday 8/20 at New England; Thursday 8/27 against St. Louis; Thursday 9/3 against Indianapolis. Four months! That doesn't sound so far away.
