Russia . . . what do you really know about this country?

How about its size? Well, it is big . . . I mean huge. I count eleven (11) time zones and 10 hours difference from one end to the other. Remember, there are only four time zones across the continental United States. It takes seven days to cross Russia by rail. Only the largest and newest commercial planes can cross the country without refueling.

This is just Russia - not all the countries of the Soviet Union. If you think the U.S. has trouble securing its borders, imagine this task in Russia. Lucky for them, no one wants to go there.
