IKE

Yesterday marked the one year anniversary of Hurricane Ike blowing through the Ohio Valley taking out trees and roofs and electric lines with abandon. It marked the longest period I've been without power since Vietnam. No big deal. I've gotten used to not having trees in the yard. When others are raking leaves this year, I will probably be thankful, in a way. With the new roof, the house looks better than ever. All in all, it doesn't seem so bad.
