RANDOM MUSINGS FROM THE TOP OF THE HILL

CINCINNATI SPORTS LAST WEEK

On Monday, UC kicked off their basketball season with an uninspired 69-62 win over Prairie View A&M. The Cats trailed by 15 early in the game.

On Tuesday, the Bengals signed Larry Johnson. The 'bad boy' running back let go by the Kansas City Chiefs was an NFL all-star just a few years ago. Another Johnson???

Xavier played Bowling Green of the Mid-American Conference at Cintas Center on Tuesday night. The Muskies breezed to a 101-57 win behind Jordan Crawdord's 24 points.

On Wednesday, UC hosted Toledo at Fifth-Third arena and won 92-68. They were improved from Monday's outing but definitely not ready for prime time. Rashad Bishop had 20 in 24 minutes.

Zach Collaros went to court to tell the judge why he didn't do what she had ordered in his false ID case. The judge said do it or spend the bowl season in jail. Idiot!

On Friday and Saturday, Winton Woods, Wyoming, Alter and Elder won to go to the final four in Ohio State football playoffs.

On Saturday night, Xavier easily rolled over outmanned Sacred Heart 105-65. Jordan Crawford had 26 for the Muskies.

On Sunday the Bengals reverted to form against the Raiders in Oakland. On any given Sunday, you can lose to any team...20-17.
