CHRISTMAS

We're getting closer. The white death is on the way. Tomorrow we're having "Ohio Christmas" at our house.

When I was a kid, we got our presents on Christmas eve. That was the night my grandfather, who we called Pa, 'went bowling'. Santa came (not long after my grandfather left) with a bag full of toys. Its amazing when you think of it, all of the toys for three kids were in one bag. We had to sing a Christmas carol for Santa before he would hand out the toys. Shortly after we tore into the presents, Santa took his leave. Pa always came home from bowling earlier than usual on Christmas eve but he never got there in time to see Santa. Poor Pa.
