HOSPITALS

Well, its about 2:30 in the morning...I just got home and I'm eating some warmed-up pizza. After all the time I spent with my mother at the hospital last year, I assumed I was through with that for awhile. I thought that 2010 could be a hospital-free year...only 8 days into it and its not.

My wife has had kidney stones in the past and as recent as last Thanksgiving she thought that she might have one again. The pains went away in November but came back with a vengeance about 8 hours ago. I rushed her to B-North. Now she does have another stone but this time an infected kidney, also. They admitted her. As of two o'clock when I left, they still did not have a room for her. She was resting pretty well but has had bad bouts of nausea from the time we got there. It was just too late to call my kids when we found out she was staying.
