Troy Evans plays linebacker and special teams for the Saints. He grew up in West Chester and graduated from Lakota High School and the University of Cincinnati.
Jyuan Hagler went to UC and started the first six games of the season at linebacker for the Colts but is now on injured reserve with an arm injury.
What are the odds, the Colts would have a player who graduated from North Dakota State and another from South Dakota State? . . . both huge football factories - not . . . of course, they do.
The New Orleans Saints cheerleaders are called the Saintsations. Did they need a name like that? The Saints theme song, When The Saints Come Marching Home, is a negro spiritual written as a funeral march. No wonder they never got to the Super Bowls before.
