On Thursday, Xavier hosted the Dukes of Dequesne, one of the bottomfeeders in the A-10. The Musketeers played well and won 86-50. Jason Love had 17 and Kenny Frease had 13 for XU.

On Saturday, Cincinnati tried out Providence at Fifth Third Arena. The Friars and the Cats put on a shooting show. Cashmere Wright had his season high in scoring in the first half. The final was 92-88 in favor of UC with Wright getting a career high 24 points.
On Sunday at the Cintas, Xavier made mincemeat of the Fordham Rams 108-60. Jordan Crawford had 23 for the Musketeers.
On Sunday night, Ochocinco did his best to avoid TV camaras and the press at the Pro Bowl in Miami.
