The Reds young phenom, Aroldis Chapman, came up with back muscle spasms during his last outing - cross your fingers.
Xavier met Kansas State in Salt Lake City for the sweet sixteen round of the NCAA Tournament. The Big Twelve league runners-up jumped out to a big lead, but the Musketeers fought back and led by a point at the half. No one could gain the advantage in the second half as the lead went back and forth. Two overtimes they played; Jordan Crawford had 32 points, Jason Love had 15 rebounds and Terrell Holloway had six assists; in the end, the Wildcats made a big 3-pointer and put down the Muskies great effort 101-96.
