CINCINNATI SPORTS LAST WEEK

The Reds started the week strong with two extra-inning wins over the Marlins but Florida bounced back to split the four-game series. Things are not looking so positive, now.

The Bengals resigned free-agent linebacker Brandon Johnson. Coach Marvin Lewis said in an interview that he hopes Chad Ochocinco makes as much improvement in his football game as he did in his dancing game.

The Reds were in Pittsburgh for a 3-game weekend series and got bounced all three. That means they've lost five in a row. Somebody needs to steady ship before they get too far behind in the standings.

The Bengals are preparing for the 2010 draft of college players. Can you believe that John Fenene is the last Bengals' 2005 draftee still on the team? ...unbelievable. they had better do better than that.

:o)
