CINCINNATI SPORTS LAST WEEK

The Reds started the week with a 2-game series with the Brewers. They knocked off Milwaukee in the ninth inning of both games. Cincinnati is riding high at this point. Its time to remember the sagest words in sports..."things are never a bad as they seem when things are going poorly and never as good as they seem when things are going well."

Tragedy in Atlanta. The Reds had a two game series with the Braves and were humbled by their own ineptitude. OH for two...OH NO! Both games were lost in the last inning.

On to Cleveland the Reds went. They won the first two handily but lost the third. Laynce Nix was as hot as a firecracker. Cincinnati finished the week with a 25-19 season record which put them 1/2 game behind St. Louis.
