Cussing is an interesting subject. It's an enterprise most young people delve into as they grow up. I think everyone tries it. Some become comfortable with it. Some come to find out that it is the weak person's crutch. If you don't have anything interesting to say, throw in a cuss word. Do it enough and it becomes a habit. Some do it so much it is comical.

I like the old fashioned expletives. Those substitute words and word phrases that are acceptable. Here's a few . . . some you hardly hear any more . . . I wish I did.
Gee Whiz!
Golly Moses!
Drat!
Holy Smoke!
Egad!
Shoot!
Dickens . . . as in "scared the dickens out of me"
Yikes!
Wowzer!
Son-of-a-gun!
Geeminy Christmas!
Yes, I could stand to hear a whole lot more of those.
