This hot start to Summer we have been experiencing is different than our normal hot spells. We almost always have a period of extreme heat in July or August. These periods are hot and dry. When it is hot and dry, the grass goes dormant. I remember times when I didn't have to mow for a month in the Summer. This hot spell is hot and wet. The friggin' grass keeps growing. These are hot times to push a lawn mower. Too hot for sane people. I'm cutting two lawns and they just keep growing. You would think I would, at least, lose a little weight.

I'm resolved that my pregnancy is ending today. I will lose this extra weight.
