WINE #5

Wine can be enjoyed at any time and in any glass. The general idea is that we drink wine from a glass with a large enough opening to allow your nose to partake in the fun. Good wine has a good aroma. Of course, sparkling wines like champagne are served in a narrow-topped glass, like a flute, to keep the bubbles out of your nose.

Some wine glasses are certainly easier than others to drink from. The more the top is curved, the smaller a sip you can take. Glasses for sipping whiskeys or cocktails are more curved. Wine glasses should have an almost vertical side to suit me. I have progressed to where I like to drink my wine at home out of a juice glass.
