REALITY TV

Reality TV is a relatively new phenomena...say about 10 years or so. What we call "reality TV" is sometimes a competition between people doing rather unnatural things and other times people doing unsavory things. The whole idea is to fill prime time TV space with unpaid actors that can draw a lot of eyeballs to the tube. I doubt we are any better off because of it . . . most are valueless tripe that appeals to our prurient interests. Its the same thing that causes drivers to slow down and gape at an accident on the other side of the highway. You don't do that, do you?
