RANDOM MUSINGS FROM THE TOP OF THE HILL

FALL

I renewed walking in the park at lunch this week. I've decided to take a new approach with my sore foot. I'm ignoring it. This is just such a great time of year to walk in the park. It brings out the poet in me.

Leaves changing colors in preparation for their flight to the ground...cool clean air blowing on a warm sunny day...grass returning from weeks of dormancy to it's rightful verdant hue...yellow school busses packed with marching bands or football players poking along on the freeway...frantic bees searching for the last of the pollen...front doors flanked by mums and pumpkins...fields of desiccated corn stalks waiting for the plow...
:-)
