Now that the votes have been cast, the pundits are all trying to pin down the 'why'. Everyone has there own point of view. It's great fodder for political talk shows but it doesn't really matter. It is what it is. The party-in-power will always lose seats in a mid-term election. The human spirit is never satisfied with the status quo. It only requires some person or some group to energize the electorate.
I say the message this time was not slow down but stop...stop spending...stop the growth of government...stop intruding into American businesses...stop taking power away from the states...stop taking control of our lives. BHO promised change and he delivered. Ironically, he complained that the Republicans in Congress were impeding his changes. Now, the electorate has voted for more Republicans in Congress. So it is change we have again. Let's hope we can embrace this change as much as we loathed the previous.
