I received a great e-mailed Christmas message from a cousin that I'd like to paraphrase and share. His home-made slide show told very briefly the highlights of his family's past year. For he and his wife, he told about traveling extensively in Europe and how those, who shared the tours they were on, became instant friends. Everyone was excited to share the new experience. He observed that it is common for people on the same journey to become close. That leads us to this Christmas thought: We are all on the same journey...the journey through life...and we should be close...we should care for each other...we should share each others joys and sorrows...we all have the same tour director...we call him Emmanuel.
