I smoked for over forty years before I quit. Growing up in the 50s and 60s it was a natural thing to do. Remember, I had a doctor when I was a kid who smoked while he took care of patients. In college, we were allowed to smoke during class. Smoking was accepted on airplanes and in every office I ever worked in. I never heard the first inkling that smoking might not be good for you or those around you until the 70s. Long term studies were undertaken to prove the harmful effects. It seems to me it wasn't until 1980 or so that we saw the big push to stop people from smoking. Even then, most smokers didn't believe that it was a real problem. Looking back now, that is hard to believe.
Well, I'm not saying I have any great technical insight but what if the use of cell phones was just like smoking fifty years ago? Some people have suggested that. What if technology has not caught up with the effects. What if long term studies start coming in that show it could be harmful? I think it would be wise to spend as little time with that instrument against your head as possible. Just sayin'.
