RANDOM MUSINGS FROM THE TOP OF THE HILL

WHEN I WAS A KID . . .

I was reminded today that when I was a kid and following pro basketball there was a franchise in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  They were called the Pistons and they moved to Detroit in the late 1950's.  The original owner also owned a foundry which casted pistons for gasoline engines.

Today, Fort Wayne has minor league teams in various sports with the following nicknames:
Fever
Flash
Komets
TinCaps
Mad Ants
Those are definitely minor league names.  Can you match the names to the sports?

:-)
