I stopped drinking coffee and ice tea in 1995. Haven't had a sip since. A few years after that, I began drinking hot tea in the mornings. About six or seven years ago, I settled on green tea as my morning drink of choice.
When we were in Ireland, I noticed that the hotels served their tea in a little porcelain English tea pot. The pot has a filter basket in it that holds the tea leaves. Hot water is poured into the basket. The pot holds 2 cups and the basket sits in the hot water when the pot is full. This allows for it to brew. When you pour the first cup, the level of the water goes below the basket so that it doesn't become too strong. Ingenious!
We got one of those pots locally and I use it every day. Try it, you'll like it.
