UNDERSTANDING WOMEN

. . . AND OTHER IMPOSSIBLE FEATS.

When we were young marrieds, my beautiful wife was averse to physical exercise, games of sport and the like; that was my bailiwick.  She always deferred - claiming that she hated to sweat.  I know,  from the beginning we had children to care for but she was always adamant - absolutely never partaking in any sweat producing endeavor outside the home.

Well, fast forward thirty to forty years.  She now breaks out in a sweat at the drop of a hat; at times, she can be sitting near-naked in an air-conditioned house with a fan blowing full force into her face and you will find the small hairs on the side of her head dripping with perspiration.  You may think this is a payback for the years she avoided sweat but actually, it is not.  It is God evening out the scorecard with women who were given the blessing of experiencing childbirth.
