Big sports weekend in the tri-state area. The Reds won 2 out of 3 from the Pirates to guarantee the #2 seed in the playoffs at minimum including a no-hitter by Homer Bailey. The UC Bearcats pulled down a miraculous, last second win over Virginia Tech. The Bengals mauled the Jaguars in Jacksonville. Oh, and don't let me forget; the Mariemont 8th grade football team quarterbacked by Drew Sizer won easily over Finneytown and a Mariemont 2nd grade soccer team led by Lucy Lysaght won a close one over Terrace Park. Great weekend.
