HARBINGER-OF-SPRING

I forgot to mention that the daffodils I transplanted to a spot around our lamp post peaked through the mulch on Monday of this week.  Snow is falling on the tiny sprouts as I type.  Not to worry, they're very hardy.  Maybe they'll be in bloom when Stacey arrives next month.
